ActiveXperts SMS and MMS Toolkit - Product Overview

SMS and MMS Toolkit is toolkit to provide SMS and MMS messaging functionality to Windows software developers.

With ActiveXperts SMS and MMS Toolkit, you can send and receive SMS messages (including WAP, ringtones, picture messages) via a:

GSM modem
GSM phone
SMPP compliant SMSC provider
HTTP compliant SMSC provider
Hayes compatible modem

With ActiveXperts SMS and MMS Toolkit, you can also send and receive MMS messages via an:

MM1 provider (MMS via GPRS)
MM4 provider (MMS via SMTP)
MM7 provider (MMS via XML/SOAP)

With ActiveXperts SMS and MMS Toolkit, you can also send pager messages via an:

SNPP Provider (alpha-numeric paging)

The product can be installed on Windows 2008/Vista/2003/XP/2000. Samples are included for: VB .NET, VC# .NET, ASP .NET, Visual Basic, Visual C/C++, ASP, Java, Javascript, PHP, ColdFusion, Borland C++ Builder, Borland Delphi and HTML.

SMS and MMS Toolkit provides the following objects:

SmsProtocolGsm	Send and receive SMS messages using a GSM modem or a modem-capable GSM phone.
SmsProtocolSmpp	Send and receive SMS messages via an SMPP provider through the internet/VPN. Enables high volume and corporate SMS messaging.
SmsProtocolHttp	Send (bulk) SMS messages through an HTTP-POST compliant SMS provider over the internet/VPN.
SmsProtocolDialup	Send SMS messages using a normal Hayes compatible modem (1200 bps or higher).
MmsProtocolMm1	Send and receive MMS messages using a GPRS modem or a GPRS phone.
MmsProtocolMm4	Send MMS messages via an SMTP server. The protocol is based on SMTP, messages are MIME encoded.
MmsProtocolMm7	Send MMS messages via SOAP/XML using HTTP as the transport protocol.
PagerProtocolSnpp	Send pager messages via an SNPP provider through the internet/VPN.

Support for MM1 (MMS over WAP). Requires a GPRS modem and a subscription to an MMSC
Support for MM4 (MMS over SMTP). Requires SMTP connectivity to an MMSC through the internet/VPN
Support for MM7 (MMS over HTML/SOAP). Requires connectivity to an MMSC through the internet/VPN.

Pager features:

Send alpha-numeric Pager messages through SNPP

Support for multi-threading environments. The component is thread-safe, which means it can be used in a multi-threaded environment
